Birthdays Party

Spencer and Miya have birthdays 10 days apart.  In between them our friend Jesse has a birthday, he's a week older than Miya.  We decided that it would be fun to have a combined party for the three of them.  We had so much fun!  It was very low key, which is totally our style.  Jesse's parents and baby brother came alone with a few of their friends.  This was my kids' first party so they have nothing else to compare it to.  We played in the park and had some cake.  We took a few pictures too...

8/18 - We had a bunch of balls to play with in the park.  Amelia loved chasing them around and being able to throw without getting in trouble.  She was so cute playing.

8/18 - Then we played on a Merry-go-round.  I was the design- ated pilot, which meant I had to keep up with the demands of "FASTER" and balance those with, "TOO FAST!"  Meanwhile the boys were busy, "Shooting Aliens," Miya was giggling with delight, and Amelia was just trying to stay on.

8/18 - Our friends bought this awesome cake for the three of them.  I'm amazed how well they tied in everyone's favorite thing.

8/18 - Blowing out the candles was fun!  Everyone wanted to blow out the same one, which they did, then Spencer picked up the slack by blowing out the other two.  They were so cute doing it too!  They are in age order here.  Spencer turned 5 on the 15th, Jesse turned 4 on the 18th, and Miya will be 4 on the 25th.
