Since my Mom remarried I got five new siblings plus spouses/ significant others and their children. We didn't get to meet all of them while we were there but a bunch of them came down on Thursday the 7th to have dinner. Here we are eating fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn (yum yum yum!) Clockwise around the table: Me, Miya, Ben, Aaron (you can't see Spencer), Dillon, Laura, Beau, and Danielle. Nana, Papa, John, Luke, and Julia were there too but not in this picture. It was fun talking with them and getting to know them a little. I would have liked more time but you take what you can get. Spencer had a lot of fun with the boys, playing and running around. Miya loved to look at the baby and tell me all about her nose, mouth, eyes, etc.
Julia, Nana, and John. Isn't Julia's hair amazing?!? I always thought my kids had a lot of hair but that's crazy! She was pretty cute and it was so fun to be around a baby again.
I was holding Julia and Miya came over to see and Julia started to get a little upset so Miya decided we needed to sing her a song. She started doing the motions to "Three little monkeys jumping on a bed..." and clapped when she was all done. To her credit Julia was happier during the process. It was cute to see my little girl up close with another baby. She loves to look at them at church but never really gets playtime.
