Miya loves animals of all kinds. She always wants to take them home with her. Occasion- ally she convinces them to come into her house. Last year she got a dog to join us. On Friday after we came home from a church fundraiser we found a cat in our garage. Miya convinced the cat to come into the house with her saying, "Come here cat! Come to my house!" The cat followed but wouldn't hold still so I picked it up to let Miya get her love in before we put it back outside. I love this possessive little hold and the happy yet determined face insisting that we keep it. You can't see it but Miya even has on her Hello Kitty shirt, how fitting. Poor Miya was so sad when it was time to kick the cat out. She needs a pet. We're trying to decide what we could handle that would be good enough for her so she doesn't invite home the neighbor's animals. Any suggestions?

Hello Kitty!

I can totally relate to little Miya! We had a puppy by the time we'd been married 6 months. If your not ready for a real animal, maybe try a Webkin. My sister was able to use that to quiet her 4 year olds plea for a pet. If your ready for real dog, our Shih Tzu was potty-trained in a month. They are a great little breed.
