We had a great Easter. Aaron worked the night before but as soon as he got home we opened our Easter baskets, ate doughnuts for breakfast, went to Church, dyed eggs, did a hunt, and ended the day by watching the movie that Dad got in his Easter basket.

Here are the kids waiting for Dad to come home so the festivities can begin. Notice Miya in her princess dress and crown? Yeah, she slept in it and had to wear it most of the day.-----
Spencer's happy face when he found out Daddy was home. -----
Daddy's little princess!-----
Our Easter baskets. Aaron got a movie, I got an AWESOME circle cutter, and Amelia got two toys. The other kids presents are pictured below.-----
Miya got a FISH!! She's so excited she can't stand it! We were racking our brains for an animal that had little upkeep that would satisfy Miya's need for a pet. We thought about a hamster but I could just see my kids giving it an excited hug and breaking a leg or something so fish it was. It's name: Fishy. Not very creative but cute just the same.-----
Here's Miya loving her "Fishy" in the cool bowl.-----
Spencer got a large box of matchbox cars. He loved driving them around but he said, "My trucks can't drive on the road. They're too small. They'll get squished."-----
My cute kids all dressed up for Church. They didn't get new clothes but they look pretty fancy anyway.-----
Amelia was pretty excited about her Easter basket, or maybe my excitement was contagious. She was smiling really big and flapping her arms.-----
The ball is really neat because it has a bell inside and it's so easy to grab on to. I love her cute little face as she is checking it out.-----
Already getting some use out of her Cookie Monster teether toy.-----
Ready to dye eggs.-----
Miya apparently forgot all about the dying eggs last year because she was just amazed that her egg came out orange.-----
You can see the uh oh waiting to happen here. He spilled green dye all over the table but kept himself and his chair clean.-----
Miya insisted on licking off her hand after touching each egg. I ran and checked to make sure it was non-toxic and then let her at it. We mixed lemon juice in it this time and I think she liked the taste.-----
Spencer did an orange egg too. This amazed me because of his love for green but I guess after making three green ones he wanted to change it up.-----
Dad and Spencer loved eating the eggs for dinner. Spencer thought they were quite tasty especially with the "dip" Johnny's"-----
Miya took one bite and decided that eggs like this are yuck so she had PPJ with Mom who also thinks eggs cooked like this are yuck.-----
Look at this cute baby!! I just love her! She got involved in the Easter fun too.-----
Spencer on the go for our Easter egg hunt. We hid plastic eggs in the house filled with candy. The kids loved it and did quite well finding them on their own.-----
Miya on the go! You can see her hair flying as she runs around.-----
Me and Amelia hunting. We only got three between the two of us. It's hard to hunt and hold a baby at the same time. The other two are much faster.-----
Aaron hid an egg in each end and they had a fun time digging them out.-----
Yet another great find.-----
Another great hiding spot and Spencer was excited to be able to get on the couch to get it.
Those red dresses are sooo cute! Looks like you had a great Easter!
