All Tied Up

8/11 - I've already started Christmas crafts. I wanted my kids to have big fun blankets to snuggle with on the couch. I love to crochet and thus the bullseye blankets were born. We all went to Wal-Mart and I let them each pick whichever two colors they wanted. This is Spencer's. I love how it's so big that it fits all four of them under it. That means he won't outgrow it any time soon. I can snuggle up with it but I'm sure he'll be taller than me one day.

8/12 - Spencer got shoes with laces this year and practiced for a week to be able to tie them. He's really got it down now and can do it without any help or prompting. He will sometimes say the steps out loud as he works. First make an X and put one through the whole.

8/12 - Then make two bunny ears.

8/12 - Make an X with the bunny ears and wrap one around and through the hole.

8/12 - Pull tight.

8/12 - TA DA! A perfectly tied shoe and one super happy boy.
