We've had a lot of fun outside lately with all the warmish weather. On Sunday while we were getting ready for Church we saw this cute little rabbit in the grass outside. Of course Miya had to go and see it.
Miya scared the poor little thing away because she was so loud and excited to see it. Then, being Miya, she chased after the bunny through several people's yards.
Then on Tuesday we walked to go get the mail, it's been so long since it has been warm enough to do this. The round trip is 3/4 of a mile and it wears us out nicely. On the way home we saw the neighbors cat and the kids had to say hi. Spencer and Miya were probably giving that little cat more love than it's seen in a while.
Spencer was okay leaving the cat after a little pat on the back but Miya wanted it to come home with her. She kept saying, "I need it the cat!" Then she would try and pick it up or convince it to come home with her. It followed her for a little while and then decided against it and went the other way. I haven't heard my little Miya cry that hard in a long time.

Miya loves the cat it is sure to bad that mom and dad don't. Just let her play with it anytime so that you don't have to get one of your own.
