3/29 - Alex is eleven months old today. This picture is cute because it shows a new thing he does. He likes to cover his mouth when he giggles. I don't know why but it's adorable!
Here are some highlights from his month: He still has just five teeth but is working on another. He refuses to eat baby food veggies but loves the real thing. He tried milk for the first time today out of my cup and LOVED it! He was excitedly kicking his feet and reaching for the cup for more. He no longer likes to be swaddled, which is quite the development since he's only slept that way since birth. He adores his blue crocheted blanket that I made him and seriously cannot sleep without it. He's woken up in the middle of the night crying and scratching around his crib in an effort to find it and when I tuck it in his hand he makes a little "ahhh" sound and goes back to sleep. He's my only baby to have a comfort item and it's been kind of fun. He lets go while standing but still can't make it last but he loves to practice anyway. Alex is not much of a talker. He'll say "Dada" which almost always refers to a family member." He will not say mama and I constantly harass him about it. I think I say it so much around him that now he thinks it's one of his many nicknames which include, Ah Boy, Mr. Chew, and Handsomes. |
