Ruth Lea Weems was the original owner of these purple lilies. She is Aaron's great-grandmother on his mother's side. They were originally in West Texas and New Mexico border then when she went into the nursing home Aaron's Mom went and dug some up. She moved them to El Paso, TX. Then when they were moving to the farm they went to Woods Cross, UT for a while and then down to Southern Colorado. Now we have them in the yard of our new home in Iowa. They really get around. They were mailed to us and actually did really well on the trip. We can wait until they bloom and we can see how beautiful they really are.
