Amelia switched to 3-6 month clothes on the 23 of April. She is three months on the fifth. She's gotten quite chubby. I think it's funny that her doctors were worried about her weight in the beginning because she's sure made up for it now. Lia's also gotten a lot more playful lately and will coo and smile as she grabs at anything in reach. This video is Miya telling all about her broken Cinderella toy. It was really quite sad. She was playing peacefully and suddenly her arm just fell off onto the bed.
I included a picture of the broken Cinderella because you can't see it very well in the video. We had to go to Target and get her another one because this is her all time favorite toy and she just can't live without it. It's a good thing we went when we did because we got the last one.
In other news Miya decided it was time to get potty trained. She's been showing interest but never produced anything until a few days ago. We are on the end of day three of the major push and she hasn't had any accidents. However, she has to wear her Cinderella underwear and won't consider anything else so I have to wash them every night. It's better than five diapers a day if you ask me. Here she is pictured with her cute little panties hanging out on the bottom. Look at that grin! We are using dum dums as a reward and she will force herself to go if she thinks it's been too long since her last sucker.
We went over to the Wagner's house yesterday and the kids had a lot of fun playing in this tree. Donavun would shake it and all the flowers would fall on them like snow. They loved running in it and trying to catch them. It was too cute. You can see Miya shaking the branch too, she had help make the fun too.
Here they are a little closer up. It totally looks like it's snowing with Spencer in shorts.
Looks like fun. I would even like to play under that tree. Congrats to little Miya on her big girl move.
ReplyDeleteha! "she will force herself to go if she thinks it's been to long since her last sucker." that is too funny!
ReplyDeleteKenna has a cinderella doll that looks the same...I'll have to look out for breaking arms. She loves Cinderella, too. And Dora. Yea for potty training! Good luck with that.
