Happy Thanksgiving

When we were at Lisa and Arnold's they had a Thanksgiving feast for us before we went home. It was sure fun to celebrate with family and a lot of great food. I usually don't take pictures on Thanksgiving but Lisa did and it seemed like another great way to keep track of family growth.

Here are the kids at home helping to fry the turkey. You have to love all the snow around it sure is different from the weather in Alabama. They do look really cute bundled up and it was fun to them poke at the snow. Spencer loved it but Miya wasn't too sure. She didn't like it when it got on her hand. She tried to shake it off but no luck.

Here we are with our Thanksgiving dinner. I love how Miya is reaching for the turkey. She did great! She went back for seconds and thirds on everything. I made a new stuffing recipe this year with apples and craisens. It was really fun. Aaron ate so much that he didn't really have room for pie.

  1. I have never tried a fried turkey, but I hear that they are amazing. What a cute family photo. I love the entire bird on the table...it just says to me "Dig in".

  3. Greg and I have watched episodes on food network about frying turkeys. Seeing a ball of greasy flames erupt from the fryer has intimidated us a bit...how did yours turn out?
