Road Trip 2011

5/30 - 6/12 - The path of our two week road trip took us through eight states and about 3,200 miles. Most of the driving time went really well and Alex, whose usually gets car sick, didn't get sick once the whole trip.

For the first week of our trip we took the northern route and saw some of the Kruse side of the family.  Our first stop was to Mount Rushmore.  Then we went to Yellowstone for two days.  Finally we ended up in Rexburg, ID to visit with my brother and his family.  There were too many pictures (107) to upload to the blog but here is the link to them on facebook:

The second week of the trip we went to Utah to see the sights and visit Aaron's brother Steven and his new wife.  Then we went to visit Aaron's parents at their home in Southern Colorado and ended that leg with a visit to his sister Rebecca in Denver.  There were even more pictures from this half (180) so I have a link for them too...

Overall it was a great trip and I'd definitely think about doing a road trip again.  We got to see a lot of family and had a vacation jam packed with fun.
