Happy Birthday to Spencer

Spencer turned four yesterday and we had a really fun day celebrating. We had Sticky Buns for breakfast then after a quick bath we opened presents. He went and got his pictures taken at Target with Dad and then they went out to lunch just the two of them to Sonic where he had a corn dog, he was excited when he found the hot dog inside of it. After that we took him to a Little League park near by where we played baseball with his new bat and balls. We ended the day with Spaghetti (his favorite dinner) and yellow cake with funfetti frosting. He's excited to go and spend his $5 from Grandma and Grandpa. We asked him what he wanted to buy at the store and he said... "Grapes, green grapes, YUM!" It was unexpected and really cute.

Spencer with his festive breakfast. We thought it would be fun to put candles in it. I love how he has his little fork ready to go on the side.

This is the awesome trash truck that Amelia picked out for him. It was cute she actually lunged at it and tried to grab at it when we were picking out presents.

Aaron found this awesome toy at an after Christmas sale at Wal-mart and we've been saving it ever since. It drives around and moves the marbles around with the various trucks all by itself. It's hard to explain but very addicting to watch. I love how Spencer is cheering in this picture.

Miya picked out this really neat firetruck for Spencer. The latter moves and goes up and down. I love how he's using it to save the person stranded on the top of his new train hill (hill courtesy of Nana and Papa).

At the Little League park. Spencer was so excited to play on a real field with his new blue bat and balls. He had a hard time getting the bases in order but hey, it was his first time.

After he was playing for a little bit he said, "Mom, I'm tired, let's go in that little room and take a break." It was pretty cute he sat there panting for a little bit and then got up and ran some more. It's like he wanted to get the full experience.

On the run to tag out Dad. He was actually quite fast at getting the ball and chasing us down.

The yum yum Birthday cake. I love that they are all in party hats. The baby doesn't have one yet but was happy to be "pretty pretty Princess Amelia" - dubbed so by Miya.
